About Cotime
What Cotime is
Cotime is an online party game platform — one place for all the games your group would usually need a separate app for. Draw and guess, social deduction, push-your-luck, territory racing, cooperative word games, and more. It works in any browser, supports 2 to 250 players depending on the game, and has built-in voice chat.
No downloads. No accounts. Share a link and everyone's in.
Why we built it
We built Cotime because we were tired of the "which app do we use tonight?" conversation — the one where half the group has Jackbox, someone won't install anything new, the free trial ran out, and you end up playing nothing. We wanted one place with everything in it that anyone could get into instantly.
It started as a side project. It turned into something people actually use, so we kept building.
The free pledge
Cotime's core games are free to play and will stay that way.
We're a small team. No investors, no growth targets, no pressure to put features behind a paywall. The people who use Cotime and want to support it can — through voluntary donations. The people who just want to play pay nothing, and that's fine.
We may add optional extras in the future. We won't gate existing features or make the core experience conditional on paying for anything.
How it's funded
Cotime runs on voluntary donations from players who want to support it. Donations go toward server costs and building new games. The progress is visible inside the app — you can see how far the current month's donations go toward covering running costs, and what the next goal is.
If you'd like to contribute, you can do so through the Support section in the app. It's never required.
